I've got all 250k pots installed including the push/pull.
His playing is better than mine and I don't know what amp/ pedals he's using (I use an Orange OR15H through celestion V30s). But this is basically similar to the tone I'm getting on mine so far.

Indeed, the guitar looks sharp!
I had a "Lone Star" Strat with a PG+ in the bridge at one point (it's a different pickup, I know...). I wasn't blown away with the tone in the room, but was pleasantly surprised when I heard it recorded and mixed with the other instruments. Great sound.

Its a standard humbucker.
I deliberated that point. E to E string spacing over the bridge pup is 51mm so I thought standard spacing (rather than 53mm trembucker spacing) would be better. The strings line up pretty well.

I've always liked the look of nickel humbuckers in Fenders. The more tarnished it is, the better.
Never concern yourself with strings lining up over the poles perfectly. The magnetic field picks everything up.
After all, scroll up and take a look at how the strings line up over the stock singles......they don't! And that's a 60 year old design that hasn't changed!
Re: Guitar mod pic: Pearly Gates in Oly White American Standard Strat
I tried just about everything in an ESP Jake E Lee sig (oh how I wish I hadn't sold that!), once I put the PGb in there I knew I'd found the one. 500k pot, and a pair of Classic Stack Plus singles, perfect! (Though I had to trim the covers a bit to fit the ESP routs)
