Kinman treble mod uses a 130k resistor in series with a capacitor.

Kinman used 250k potentiometer

Would the value of the resistor change for 500k or even a 1 meg potentiometer?

No, a 130k resistor in series with a 500-1000pf cap will work well with a 500k or 1 meg pot.

What value resistor would you recommend for a 1500pf capacitor to attain the most bass response when the volume is turned down?
