That axe looks good. I love how the pup rings seem to be made out of wood. Simply awsome.

The knob too!! Not my personal preference in shape or it being an arch-top but I love the grain, mounting rings and knob!! Well scored.

I have a Jackson poster that came with a guitar holiday buyers guide in 2005 I got, and it has that guitar on it (as well as many other Jacksons) on the other side is Jenna Jameson with a White Penguin!! :barf:hmmmmm

Thanks! That one has a bit of interesting history in that it was used in a video shoot for a remix of Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love". The video that was eventually released didn't feature the guitar but I did get a proof copy of the one that features the guitar, half-naked robot chicks, and Robert Palmer himself.

USACG mahogany body, Allparts neck, WCR pickups, Hipshot bridge, and a random bunch of other parts. That pickguard's actually cream, but the sun sort of bleaches it, and Warmoth's cream is a bit on the white side.

Someone at TDPRI claimed that tortoise (sp?) pickguards were only good for sunbursts. Which I never thought about. So I got a tortoise, and a B/W/B, and decided this would work rather well.

This guitar's been slowly evolving ever since I got it. It'll probably stay like this now.

Cheers! It's a custom guitar built by a friend of mine. It was based on the Ibanez Artist - same headstock, too. The zebrano parts, including the truss rod cover, were made by THG Knobs.

you are a lucky man to have a friend build you such an exquisite axe bro. I have a maple & walnut body blank in that shape that I now have some inspiration for! I'm just waiting until i move to a place with a garage to take on my first set neck project.

I saw that other "the paul" up there and couldn't resist! mine was pretty beat up when i got it so i refinished it in tru-oil & tricked it out a bit

That's a cool tele!
Did you route the body for the Hipshot bridge or the USACG guys did it?
They painted it too?
