Guitar wiring problem

This is strange, but I'm not an expert by any means...

I've wired up a GFS memphis pickup to seymour wiring, to the bridge position of the pickup selector. Works fine.

Trying to wire up a dimarzio EJ custom to the neck. the minute I solder the ground or the hot to the pickup selector, I get the neck pickup active in all three positions (three way switch). I've tried red and green hot, with ground to either of these, and also wired black and white together, as normal on dimarzio wiring. The neck pickup takes over on all three positions.

Any idea what's going on here?

Re: Guitar wiring problem

So what is the "common" terminal? I've got each pickup wired hot to the specific tab that it was originally wired to, and worked...

Image of the wiring

If you turn the switch upside down
And wire it backwards
You get exactly the conditions you describe

To explain
If wires left to right
As opposed right to left

Common terminal is on one end

If common is on the right side
Then the second terminal.goes.to bridge
Third to middle
Fourth to neck

If you reverse wire it
The common. Is now the neck
