I never liked the idea of onboard stuff, nonetheless BOATLOADS like demonstrated here. Just pickups, pots and a switch is more rugged than a bunch of flimsy circuits added to the mix and ...........glass?

It looks like a fun guitar, but meh, I don't want to be saddled with that many choices and someone elses idea of what preamp sounds good.

I mean a Traveler guitar has a preamp and headphone jack... so what?
