Guitars at the History Museum

The director of the Wichita-Sedwick County Historical Museum is a long time friend and guitarist, and is extremely knowledgeable on the history of guitar in general - and electric guitars specifically. Eric Cale has put together a terrific collection of instruments for the Museum, and here are a few new video shorts on some on them. In the first short you might spot one I built for the late Mark Shelton.

Lots of other good guitar videos on their channel, if you wish to enjoy them. Jazz giant Jerry Hahn is one of the players featured.

The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston did an exhibit called Dangerous Curves the art of the guitar around 20 years ago. They had guitars from the 1500s to modern times. I took my Dad there it was one of the best times we ever had together
