Guitars shaped like guns?

This is going to sound really weird, but does anyone have any pictures of a guitar shaped like an M-16 or some other gun?

I saw one on ebay a few months back. It was an M16 with a toggle switch trigger.

Back in the 80s, Alice Cooper hired a rambo lookalike called Kane Roberts to tour with him. He had a machine gun guitar. Did it look utterly ridiculous? -I'll let you decide...

If you want a M16, buy an AR-15. Almost exactly the same thing, just different trigger parts and bolt (semiauto instead of full auto). Incredible guns too. One post ban example can be had for roughly $650 or more. If you want, wait until September and you can swap uppers for one with a flash suppressor and bayonet lug. Add collapsible stock and it would look like Barney's rifle then...

I wouldn't want a guitar shaped like a rifle. It wouldn't be comfy to play and I don't think it would sustain well.

I remember that dude! I rememeber catching Alice live on MTV (when they played music during the 80s) and saying who the F is that playing guitar. He did look pretty hilarious.

ya, i agree, it would be neat to hang on a wall and show off, but other than that i think you should worry more about a guitar that sounds good rather than looks bitchin.

Well.. the reason I ask is.. my neighbor and I are currently in cahoots to build a guitar (His father owns a lumberyard, I work at a guitar shop.. it was meant to be). Today, we were planning out some body designs and gluing our blanks together when he says "What if we made a guitar shaped like an M-16?". :smack:

Of course it would be absolutely ridiculous, but it would probably be fun to make and pull out at gigs just for laughs. :laugh2:

They were selling one down at my local Guitar Center. Nobody wanted it. It sat there for 8 months before it was sold. I tried it out and it sounded like... not woody. Looked interesting though. Had a scope and everything.

I saw that Alice Cooper guitar in a Hard Rock Cafe somewhere... maybe in New Orleans. I'm not really sure where. I must say it did look cool, with the bullets on the strap and all.

I wouldn't want a guitar shaped like a rifle. It wouldn't be comfy to play and I don't think it would sustain well.

But you would have killa tone:saeek: and if anyone disagreed with your style of playing well you could give them a short blast...... :firing:
