Sorry I can't add anything constructive or offer on your amp but Gutted in british speak means to be upset or letdown.

So read it as "really upset but its got to go"

I would separate, but shipping to the US is a bit more hassle than I can be arsed with at the moment. I probably wouldn't even ship it in the UK, pickup would be preferred.
