guys I REALLY need suggestions and thoughts!

Hello,

I am in a wheelchair and I am unable to actually use a pedal on the floor like they are meant for, I constructed a board with removable frame so it stands up high enough but it is taking up to much space that way I have 2 half stacks and in my chair I am to short to reach the top amp head if I stack them all up. so I need to figure a way to have my pedalboard somewhere I can use it AND it not take up a ridiculous amount of space.

I'm honestly feeling a middi setup with that whatever it is that attachers to the guitar…

And as said - we need pics. No worries - we can make this happen.

Check this out, XTS just wired up this board for a paraplegic customer of theirs giving them full control of the pedals from the guitar wing attached to the guitar...

TLDR Sorry My comp sucks,anyway

When I eBayed my Blackmore Strat,there was a guy in a chair who showed interest.
He had a setup(then) that seemed like a pedalboard/controller thingie,looked push/preset activated.

It can be done.

Lost his info when the other sucky comp crashed.
Mebbe check youtube?
Wish I could help more,but it made an impression,thought I'd share.

Maybe some kind of mounting bracket so you can hang it off the 4x12?

So, there are a number of MIDI controllable true bypass loopers. What if each pedal was in a loop, and you used an iPad MIDI controller to send program number? (and corresponding loop activation)

Have you considered a midi controlled rack processor and using a touch tablet to wirelessly control changes? Stomps are great, but a lot of good rack processors that respond to midi change control messages. Ipad or android tablet running a midi control app (they have ones you can design the layout yourself even) to wirelessly control changes would be a breeze and probably could get a stand that hangs on the chair.

Just a suggestion. If not, I think if Neil Young can have a whizzer built to turn knobs mechanically, you could have the same thing done mechanically to press stomp switches. Might cost a bit. As an upside to it, if designed right and cost effective, you might be able to make a buck or two by patenting it and selling it to others in need of similar.

You never mentioned if you want to turn the pedals on and off, or if you want to make adjustments. Everyone else here seems to be coming at you with ideas on just turning pedals on and off.

I would suggest a H9 and an iPad. You can make adjustments to settings and turn effects on and off. The pedal sounds amazing. You could pair it with a Dirt Clod for gain via midi and control everything from the iPad.

As yet another alternative suggestion, I'd say lose the 2 4x12s and get 2 2x12 cabs if space is becoming an issue, or move them to another room, use a longer speaker cable, mic them and listen to that signal through smaller monitors in your playing room. You may be able to repurpose household furniture (computer desks, entertainment centers, TV stands, etc) to sit the heads and the board on.

You could also switch to a laptop or tablet and run Amplitube either as standalone or a VST in your DAW, and run the signal into a power amp into a pair of 2x12 cabs.

I have a friend who plays keyboards and uses a lot of effects pedals with them, so he uses one of these (types of pedals, not this specific model, I don't know much about midi controllers) on a stand next to him to control his effects:

I know he has different 'patches' set up, so that one button could control multiple pedals, and in a few cases, with some of the midi-controllable pedals, he even has a few of the buttons bound to change parameters on some of the pedals.

I unfortunately don't know how he connects a midi pad/controller to his pedalboard, I just know that he makes it work and has full control over his board as it sits next to him (rather than under his feet) during a gig.
