I like it, very classy! I always like to see how plain tight, square, and straight the real good cabs and amps are. There just seems to be a better quality to a Splawn than even a Marshall.

Sweet looking cab! Scott Splawn makes fine fine stuff and this is no exception. That man knows what he's doing... Excellent choice sir.

Looks great, and I'm sure it's one of the best sounding 2-12's out there.
Here's the only Competition picture I was able to find......from a guy who thought it was too loud for his bedroom.....what an idiot! haha

The only bummer is another 3-4 weeks for the head. I guess it's been a positive though. I've been practicing unplugged working on those boring picking, fingering, scale, etc. exercises.

How do you guys think the Splawn and Bogner Oversized (which are similar style) compare to the Mesa Boogie Recto in tone and sound/feel

I've played the Bogner vs. Boogie - Boogie has the standard Mesa cabinet dark/shrill at the same time thing going on, as well as being somewhat boomy with the tendency to make amps sound similar. Bogner had such a nice mid quality, super punchy and resonant, clear, articulate... basically perfect, save the price.

I guess I got the first one of the OS 2X12's, according to Josh at Splawn, which is kinda cool. I am really blown away by the build quality of this cab. Props to Splawn and his crew!
