Hamer Import Vs Epiphone

I would like to know what you guys thought of the Hamer Standard Import compaired to the Epiphone 1958 Explorer RI. The Hamer is cheaper and I have heard nothing but good things from any Hamer. Only thing is that I heard many times over about the electronics Epiphone, not to mention that the Hamer already comes with Duncan Designs pups. Is the Hamer truelly a better deal? Or is there something I do not know about the Epiphone 1958 Explorer RI?

I'd go with the Hamer. Even the import Hamers are consistently better than anything you could get from Epiphone.

Ah, okay I figured the Hamer would be a better deal I just wanted to hear some people's opinions. Thanks for the responses guys .
