Hamer XT Series?

Any good? I`m interested in the SATF (Archtop Flame),they look really nice (only seen pics!) but how is the quality lets say compared to Epiphone or similar companies? Any owners or anyone with experience please give opinions. Thanks!

Good stuff for the most part, especially for the price. Among the best in non MIJ imports and I'd say on average as good as the *best* Epi's you'll find, and better than most for build quality.

Every one I've ever handled though has weighed a TON. I swear a few were 11 pounds or more.

Sounds good! I guess if they`re heavy they must not be using plywood at least!!

I really like the P 90 models. I played a single pup P 90 PRS, and it was sweet. Neck felt good, smooth fret edges and such. I haven't tried the import Hamers, although I've heard favorable reports.

The Gold-Top P90 Hamer is ending in 3 hours!! Don't know whether to pull the trigger, or stick with getting pedals!

I have only good things to say about Hamer Korean made imports. I did not comment on the GT because I dont feel I have played enough of the Chinese made guitars. Find a nice Korean made one and it will be well worth the money.

Keep your eyes open for a Dean EVO60 they are REALLY Nice Korean made P90 guitars. They come in nice Bass Boat big Sparkleflake Gold and Gold like this Hamer.

i recently picked up a used Hamer XT Sunburst P90 guitar (made in China) and I absolutely love it. I got it for $100 plus a Lyon "by Washburn" bass at a local pawnbrokers!
Amazingly, the fact that it's actually a Goldtop not a sunburst does not affect the sound in any way!
