I've been winding my own pickups for awhile now and I really enjoy it, I also enjoy being able to reproduce the sound of any pickup without having to pay boutique prices. Well times are a bit rough right now and money is tight so I figured I would try and sell some of my favorite sounding pickups.
This is a vintage correct 1959 single coil replica.
Output: Vintage
DC Resistance: 6.08
Magnet: Alnico V
Magnet Orientation: South
Wire: Scatterwound with 7,986 turns of 42AWG Heavy Formvar
I'm only asking $40 shipped... These are genuine handwound with all vintage correct parts. This is an incredible offer for anyone searching for vintage strat tone.
Heres a sample recording so you can get an idea of the tone. Excuse my poor excuse for playing... All playing is in the neck position. The recording definitely doesn't do this pickup justice, it sounds a lot better in person.
