Happy Halloween

Since it's Halloween, I thought it would be an appropriate time for everyone to post pictures of their Frankenstrats. Other ghoulish or scary guitars welcome.

I'll start it off with a pic of my brother's EVH-style Frankenstrat and my Peavey Predator.

Re: Happy Halloween

I don't have a 'Frankenstrat" but I do have a "FrankenSLIDE"

Here it is....
Lapgood2.jpg

I used Oak for the top, it came from left overs from a bookcase. Cherry makes up the heart of the instrument. It runs all the way through. This was from some old door trim. The fretlines and the neck is made of Walnut (you can't see it) this is from a 100 year old barn door. Rosewood fretboard.

Sperzell Tuners, Gotoh TOM, Jaguar Tremolo, Seymour Duncan vintage tele stack, Switchcraft jack. Scratch guard made from the bottom plate of a Crybaby wah. Green LED. No Vol/ No Tone.

Tuned to Open D.

Thanks. No special wiring really. Just a 3-way toggle and the volume pot. There is a 470k resistor from the neck's hot lug on the switch to ground so that it sees close to 250k. The volume pot is 500k. The middle position is 250k as well. Bridge position is the full 500k.

Yours looks really sharp. How do you like the Twangbanger? Is the push-pull a neck or bridge on switch?

Re: Happy Halloween

Coo.

I love the Twangbanger in my guitar, one of the most punchy and sparkly sounding bridge pickups i've heard in a strat (which makes sense cos it's voiced as a tele lol)

Yup, push pull acitvates the bridge pup so I can get Neck & bridge combos and all the pups at once. the neck and bridge really gives me a gibson-y style sound (in dynamics).

I give you

LESSTRAT!
HRb/CR/HRn
Ping tuners
push/pull pots (coil splitting)
new 5-way selector
Graphtech saddles (not pictured)
Fender pickguard
Black knobs

If I had not bought the pups FIRST, they'd probably be black.
