Neat clip. Deamon is right..cool vocals and this thing is über-tight. I really like the clean guitar, nice phrasing.

The distorted guitar should sound fatter imho, perhaps you can tweak a little bit.

Nice! I like the clean portions, reminds me of some stuff by PoD. Do you think you could cut a longer track of that without the solos? I could possibly do some vocals to that.

Re: Happy Thaksgiving, all! Here's a new clip for ya!

You want a version with the clean verse with & without the nat. harmonics & the dist. chorus? It's kind of a weird tune in that there's no major changes; the bass line & chord progressions never change through the whole thing. If I loop 4 minutes of the clean verse, it's going to drone with no variation.

I just was interested in the entire track minus one thing: the lead solo line. I mean, sure, you can keep it, but if I had the track itself as an mp3 I could put it on loop and see if I could come up with something. Think creative freestyling vocals :D

I liked the clean parts the best ... the note pings were nice sounds.

Sorry I've been absent so long. I'll try something as soon as things die down next weekend, as I'm being flown to New Mexico to do some training on the CV-22 Osprey. I'm bringing my Ibanez with me (unbolted and "smuggled" into a luggage case lol). I'll see if maybe, just maybe, I can find a good quality microphone while TDY to see if I can record some vocals. For now, adios! :D

Oh, and I GREATLY appreciate you recording the clean version for looping purposes!!!!!!!! :D

By the way, what guitar are you using on the cleans? Those harmonic "ping" cleans are impeccable!

Thanks, guys! Glad you liked it!

The guitar on this one is the Hellraiser. The clean rhythm is the neck pup (EMG 85), the harmonics & heavy rhythm is the bridge (EMG 81).

I like the "hypnotic" feel of this one, too. Sometimes when I find some little progression or riff that I like, I can play it over and over and over and over, & it'll move me into a kind of trance-like state. It's usually something simple, & I'll zone out completely. I really like that feeling, & I tried to catch some of it with this one.
