Hard Case Help

I am making a custom guitar and need to find a hard case (aluminum/plastic) for it. Does anybody know of a company that will make to fit? I heard by way of the monkey vine that you could draw the outline of the guitar and they could make it.

It is longer than an electric but shorter then a bass due to the body being made from a bass body blank for the design.

Or would it be easier to buy a bass hard case and gut it and rebuild it.

Heeeeeelp!!!!!

I thought about that to. I bought over $2000.00 in tools just to build the guitar. I don’t have room for anymore tools. I would think the world is advanced enough that I don’t have to make everything my self.

There has got to be a company out there that can do the customizing for me. That way it is done by people that know what there doing and have the tools to do it.

actually, to build a case for it, you dont need that many tools. You can use many that you already have, if not all. But, it'd be a simple hardwood case covered with tolex. You could make it have a nice strong plush interior, and make the case out of a wood such as plywood or Bois D' Arc (pronounced Boe-dark, and strong as hell). Good luck on making it out of Bois D' Arc though, since you'd have to literally have a chainsaw to cut against the grain. But with the grain it's like cutting cedar. Very very strange wood.
