hard rock song - 1 hour to write/record

I can't listen right now, but I love the concept of the time limit!! One hour to bust out a tune. Would be hard to do for me!

I've been toying with similar concepts:

- a song with only 1 note (I like B myself)
- a song mixed in mono
- a total free-form/improvisational song - no pre-prepared riffs at all, just hit record and go
- a song using only instruments made of stuff laying around my house to bang on (including kids' toys)

Im gonna do a string of these; I get more from it creatively I think; also I get more ideas down on paper instead of working on eq - ing my mix and double tracking my guitars I just create and move on, prolly what I need to do at this point...

on the flip side for better recordings I need to figure out my new drum software one day tho

One hour to write and record? Turned out pretty good. It usually takes me three days just to do the drums. Probably why I haven't recorded a whole song in about three years.

cool brutha, Ive been doing drums for 2 years and 50 recordings so far; I just repeat the drums alot, then switch in some fills, so it takes me 5 minutes total to do drums...Im stoked on this one hour thing; its prolly gonna stick for me for awhile :14:

ya. if I said metal then metal heads would say noooo! thatz the soundgarden type stuff. if I said modern rock, then thatz a no no and so on...hard rock is the catch all these days, I need to eat lunch at the hard rock cafe and look at some iommi signed guitars lols

I always give your tracks a listen as they are not half bad .
