Re: Hard to Handle

man that's a pretty good sound. Being that the black crowes are my favorite band of all time I was skeptical going in but you really did a great job, and you've freakin got the solos nailed. I'm impressed. I never even got around to learning those solos the proper way. I just improved them and played something similar, but you nailed it. Good tone. My only complaint is at the very beginning with the intro lick. something sound out of whack, but after that it sounded great. Thanks for posting, I found myself singing all the lyrics as if I were playing with my band (that's a good thing) :)

First off, thanks for the feedback guys. It means a lot :)

I tried to do some kind of harmony on the intro bit (it sounded a bit too beefy to me to begin with). I've taken out the harmony line so you can hear it sounding how it should :D

Thanks again guys,
B

Good job. I liked your chord work on it...... really nice. The solos were real good too! Nice tone!

If you don't mind. How did you record it?

Shure SM57 around 6" from the cabinet straight into my soundcard. Used a program called Audacity for mixing.
