Hard Wire Woody HC to End Pin Jack

I'd like to hard wire a woody HC to my old Gibson acoustic after I install an end pin jack. I've never done this before, does anyone have a wiring diagram - or can I just go trial and error?

welcome to the forum!

since its a passive pup there should be two wires that connect to the current output jack. carefully look at those connections and connect the tip and sleeve in the same fashion on the new jack

Your advice was right on the money. When I stripped the cable I expected to see 2 wires (silver and copper). The wire mesh is actually the shield wire.... Aside from sausage fingers attemtping to solder the connections it all worked as planned! Thanks again.
