Re: hardcore telecaster picup

Your best option is the Hot Rails, unless you want to route.

Re: hardcore telecaster picup

Do what they said you won't be sorry. Hot Rails for Tele. The only bridge pickup in a tele for me!

Yep!

John 5 is actually a pretty normal guy. He dresses like Manson for show.

Well, I guess he doesn't have to anymore...

Re: hardcore telecaster picup

what about the custom shop BG1400. I think a couple guys here have them. If you are really looking for a high gain type pickup it might be it without having that humbucker sound like the hotrails will have.

oh yeha and about John 5 i will be interested in his solo work just to see if he or how much he changes his style from what he played with Manson.

Re: hardcore telecaster picup

John was/is an awesome session musician. and he admited that he likes playing country in the fenders catalg, when they featured his axe hehe.

Re: hardcore telecaster picup

I may be shot for saying this, but you may want to check out Harmonic Designs S-90. Its a standard sized tele bridge p/u that sounds very close to a P-90.

Re: hardcore telecaster picup

Imo humbuckers are the best for the style you mentioned.
so +1 for hotrails!
i played a hotrail strat and i liked it. Never played a hotrail Tele, but i've read good things about it.
But the Amp is more important imo!!
