Has anyone tried a Demon/Custom 5 hybrid yet?

Been thinking about trying this one out, although I'm not sure what one of the hybrids would sound like with a Custom slug coil on top of a Screamin' Demon screw coil on the bottom?

Anyone?

It would not be good because the C5 coil would give more bass and treebles and less definition : all bad .
The Demon is perfect : balanced EQ , tight , fast , alive .

The Demon/Custom Hybrid actually works pretty well, but not as good as the the 59/Custom Hybrid or the Custom/JB Hybrid... those two are excellent!

The DEMON works pretty well with an A2 magnet... it would probably be pretty harsh with a Ceramic.

Not with a ceramic but i planned to try an alnico8 in the Demon ; should be devastating !

With the Custom's Ceramic magnet it sounds in between the Custom and the Distortion...

With the JB's A5 magnet it combines the tone and response of the Custom 5 and the JB... this is the version I like, but I prefer Alnico...
