Has anyone tried a Dimarzio paf pro mag swap to Alnico 6

Just wondering if anyone has tried an Alnico 6 in a paf pro. I was thinking about putting one in the bridge of my sg.
 
The thing about DiMarzio magnets is they're sightly off spec compared to Duncan/Gibson/most other manufacturers.

So if you try to just swap one of those magnets in there, you might get it to fit, but the bobbins are going to end up all crooked.

Plus I've noticed the PAF Pro actually has a slightly oversized A5 magnet. Not double-thick like an X2N's/Super Distortion ceramic, but not as thin as other DiMarzios with A5.
 
I think that may just have to do with the swap itself. I've never had that issue with a dimarzio but it happened to me with an SD when I used too much force to remove the baseplate.
