Has anyone tried Couch guitar straps?

I saw an advertisement for them and they look pretty good online. I have never seen them in person though, and don't have any ideas about build quality. Does anyone on the forum have experience with them?

Re: Has anyone tried Couch guitar straps?

Have one, and a wallet, and a belt, and a pick-holder. All very good quality.

Re: Has anyone tried Couch guitar straps?

What design did you get? They seem to have almost too much variety.

Re: Has anyone tried Couch guitar straps?

I've owned two of them, one of which they custom-made for me to match a guitar. They're awesome. Great quality, decent price point, and made locally in SoCal from recycled materials. Love 'em!

Re: Has anyone tried Couch guitar straps?

I had one as part of a trade. Seemed extremely nice, no idea what model it was though.

Re: Has anyone tried Couch guitar straps?

I use the racer x strap (one with the stripe), In gray. It's a nice looking strap, I wish it was easier to adjust on the fly though. Accepts Dunlop strap locks no problem, hard to use with schaller.

Re: Has anyone tried Couch guitar straps?

I have these; stripes are my style:

(A thing I enjoy about the straps; the hardware DOES NOT impact the body of the guitar, such as some makes of strap; the hard bars are a good distance away from the faces of the guitar:)

Never tried them, though they have some nice looking ones. Most of my guitars have either a Levy's leather strap, or a Franklin leather strap. I don't do straps with buckles, rivets, studs, etc.

Let's see your straps with your guitars...

'Oooh, what models?'

'Ooohhhh, why don't you put them on?'

Poor lighting and I forgot what colors it was the first time. Just be lucky I didn't strap it on for a chest hair/boxer selfie (can't find my belt or pick holder ATM: )

Re: Has anyone tried Couch guitar straps?

Cool. I'm thinking of getting the classic black/white for my blackie style Strat.

Re: Has anyone tried Couch guitar straps?

Couch leather straps and Coach handbags for the ladies. So close.....

Re: Has anyone tried Couch guitar straps?

I'm wondering what to get for my ice blue strat with a white pickguard and chrome hardware. It seems they have every possible shade of blue except ice.
I'm asking all this because I've reached the skill level of being able to not only buy nice guitars, but also nice straps (it's a great feeling). Does anyone know any other good brands? Preferably wide leather.

Wow, these straps look great!

Digging the red with white racing stripe on their site. Would look good with my Hamer

Re: Has anyone tried Couch guitar straps?

Is that guitar on matte? I don't see that as much as I'd like.

I use one of their wallets, the turquoise one with the white and orange stripe. It has held up really well, and I can see it when I throw it on the nightstand.
