Have 2 lead Humbuckers, but extra switch....Ideas?

I'm thinking of trying my 2005 50th Anniversary Seth Lovers in my McCarty.

The pickups are braided 2 lead, which renders my pullup tone knob switch basically useless. Or is it?

Give me some ideas for using the pullup switch. Can I use it to add in some sort of resistor/cap filter, for a sweeter single coil sound, similar to PRS's old 'sweet switch?'

I like the look of the current zebra C5/59, but I'm anxious to hear my sweet and bluesy Seths in the tight and resonant McCarty.

Here's the 50th Ann. Seths I took out of the honeyflame Premium Plus.
They sounded great in this, but it now has a Brobucker/PGn.

You should be able to use it as a kill switch.

By the way, I love the flame on your les paul!

I think it would be cool to use a variation of Artie's de-mud mod, to take out some of the bass and mids, leaving a cleaner treble-y sound. I'm not sure what resistor/cap values would be best for something like that, though. You'd have to play around with it a bit.

Another thing I like to do is switch between two different tone control caps. Use whatever you normally do for the "main" one, and then switch to something like a .001uf for a very subtle tone control. I have my JetKing set up that way.

Dang . . . almost forgot my current new favorite: The coil-swap mod:

Two extra humbuckers for the price of switch. And it sounds good too. ;)

Use it for series\parallel wiring in middle position!

Joe, use it as a push pull and switch the phase between the pickups. It will give you that cool BB King sound in the middle position.

A high-pass(low cut) filter to knock some low mids off. Or, how about swapping a Q-filter for the tone cap. Or just wire it up with a resistor so it's always in the sweet spot.

Good ideas guys. I'm most interested in some sort of 'de-mud mod' circuit or the coil swap.

I'm dealing with a pullup tone pot that has 2 poles being switched to ground I believe. They were used to split the coils on my 4 lead pickups.

I don't really need a honky out of phase sound, but am interested in a way to sweeten the Seths into something like a P90 or minuhumbucker. A certain capacitance value that will do that, or combination of res/cap.
