Have You Ever....

Have any of you guys ever missed your guitar so much that it effects your daily life negatively for a few months, stupid question i know but my guitar completed me my guitar was a Dean Zero and the police found it but they are dangling it in front of me like a slab of meat, that's worse than it being stolen.

yeah i do have a few other guitars and my other main one that is in pawn, also what happened was my guitar was stolen, and then it was found and put on hold by the police and i can't claim it til they finish they investigation, and i am at the bottom of the priority list. Also i should elaborate more, this is the only guitar that has really felt comfortable so i can play without fighting the guitar, before it was stolen i was auditioning for a band. bad choice of words at the beginning of the post, its more of a frustration and it nags at me daily =/ because i forked over the hard earned cash for it installed the pickups and did all the work myself lol.

that's kind of a load of crap. after they take the prints off it (and doing that may not be worth it, depending on how/where they found it), photograph it, etc...there's no reason for them to keep it, unless they think maybe it was hot before it ever got to you.

they held my rifle some years ago till after the trial

some places do things differently I suppose

I couldn't see it negatively affecting my daily life... I think that is extreme but I can definitely see missing it you know? When you get connected to a guitar it is hard to let go. :)

Ohhh wow man, that sucks ! I think if someone stole my 600$ strat i'd flip sh*t, If its your main guitar or one of the main ones i could definitely see your frustration. Good luck with the investigation, hope you get the axe back soon! :D

Well I have gibson that I really miss when I leave for a couple of months. Its pretty hard but I survive every time :)

I miss my 85' Squier Katana sometimes, but to tell you the truth, i sold that one and bought my strat, before i sold it i barely played electric, once i got to the strat, you cant get me off electrics. so all in all its all good.

Sorry to have ruffled feathers. You're right; this is definitely an inappropriate place to worry about grammar. I do learn a lot of cool stuff here, though. Thanks.
