Haven't posted in a long time - here's something new

Working on getting the vocals tracked in the next couple of weeks. Here's the raw material as it stands now. Kinda Alice-in-Chains-ish.

Simple recording - LP through my old 2204, Hamer Cruise Bass through a POD Pro, Superior Drummer, Rob Papen Blue for keys. Done on Sonar 7

Sounds really good. My only CC would be the low notes on the beginning of the solo are getting a little lost. Other than that I dig it.

Everytime I use Sonar I learn a little more about it. Definitely real nice to work with and don't have many issues with it. I'm still using v7 , have purchased v8 but am reluctant to upgrade since I've figured out most of the bugs and anomalies of v7.
A lot of the mix has to do with what monitors you use. I have a set of some self-powered (not high dollar) that I've learned the nuances of so it's pretty easy to judge a mix on them.

I dig, some late 80s AIC and maybe hair metalz, sounds really good, I like the guitar solo, good that its not over the top. 2204s r wicked.
