Havin an issue about noise and grounding

Re: Havin an issue about noise and grounding

You can deduce the source of the noise by a process of elimination.

If you experience that noise in some venues but not others, it is something to do with either the mains electricity supply or proximity to sources of electro-magnetic emission. e.g. Computer monitors, televisions, transformers, certain types of lighting and/or lighting faders.

Even with the very best screening, using an electric guitar right next to your computer will induce interference. High gain amplification and/or modelling plug-ins simply exaggerate the problem.

If you touch the strings and it disappears it works as designed. You are the shield.

If you want more you need to add internal shielding.
