hi all.....

I have a problem with my STC 3 preamp, it has a little noise, should it be like that???....

the installation process was find, just like the wiring instruction that the web given, my bass to my cables & amps they were just in their best.

when I connect my bass ---> DI BOX---balanced out---> amp its sound good but a lot of noise,

the noise looks so real.... I just can believe my ears, would you tell me why it happens?..... what should I do?.....

thanks

Re: having a Problem with my STC 3 onboard preamp

The pre-amp stage in active instruments emits a constant, low level background hiss.

If you run active pickups into an active EQ system, that is another opportunity for hiss.

What impedance level range is your DI box expecting at its input socket? You could have a level mismatch.
