Wooooo!

Got in touch with MJ and I am having a set wound for my PRS custom 24!

This should be awesome!!!!

She is a pleasure to deal with :)


They are going to be low-medium output cause my amp has so much gain already. They will have clarity and string separation, great dynamics, tightness, punch and tonal balance. Without loosing warmth. Kinda like a mix of vintage and modern. Oh, and I made sure the neck won't be "boomy"

The rest is up to the expert herself

It is cool that I can give her such limited terms and she instantly picks up on exactly what I was looking for.

Congrats my friend. I myself placed an order for a custom pickup about 2 weeks ago.... so hopefully I'll begin hearing something from MJ soon. =) She did say 4 to 6 weeks.. but you never know. =) How long she tell you?

Looks like Mincer beat me to it haha.

All I did was email MJ a couple of times and then she sent me a link to send in the order. Super simple and she is very nice!

Also, bad ass username my friend! :)

Not at the moment... MJ did hook me up with a '78 several years back.
