Having trouble locating pups online

Hey guys,

So I settled on the 59n and the CustomCustom in Trem form, but can't find any online dealers with what I need. The only local reseller here for SD is an awful businessman and I hate to go there.

I need both of these in trem form, 59 in zebra and the CC in rev zebra (I think I have those right). Any ideas if online retailers don't have them?

Does it matter if I just order a Trem 59 -- some sites don't tell me if its neck or bridge.

Thanks!

This is also a great website. I believe you can get 15% discount if you type 'sdforum' as coupon code.

Re: Having trouble locating pups online

Ive already tried there, no success, they don't have the color schematic I am going for :(

This is a pic I found online, and this is how I want my guitar to look. I have the same paint job on my strat, just won't have the p90 in the middle.

Re: Having trouble locating pups online

The 59 doesn't need to be trem spaced as far as I know.

Personally I never had a problem using a regular-spaced pickup with a trem. The poles are slightly off but I can't hear a difference. It looks a little off, though.

if you have a paypal account, got for this on ebay.

Re: Having trouble locating pups online

If I must I will go standard spacing on both. My DD is a standard spaced bucker and it looks good enough.. I am just being OC.

get a hold of wymore and tell him you want the setup (i think it's reverse zebra) shown in that picture. Wymore will hook you up with what you need, and he gives a discount since you're a member. You don't know what someone can do until you ask.

True -- I will give him a call at the store, or send him a PM!

Thanks!

as far as im concerned having a standard spaced in the neck doesnt really matter i have a standard spaced bluesbucker in the neck of my RT (Alder RG) and the poles line up perfect

Re: Having trouble locating pups online

Okay good to know, so I can get the SH-1 neck and the TB-11 bridge (or SH really, doesn't look that bad)

Question then -- I want the colors to go from neck to bridge like this:

White/Black(H-neck) Black(S) Black/White(H-bridge) does that mean the neck is zebra and the bridge is reverse zebra?

Re: Having trouble locating pups online

If you split the humbuckers when combining with the middle pickup (in positions 2 and 4 with a RWRP middle) the bridge can be inverted to also be hum cancelling.

That'll give you the color scheme you're after.

That I don't know. I'd assume that on a bridge pickup, the coil closest to the bridge being black and the inner coil being anything other than black would be Zebra, and the neck schemed opposingly would be reverse, but you'll have to find out from Duncan specifically on their scheme.

Re: Having trouble locating pups online

Those are both Zebra pickups, the bridge flips relative to the neck when installed so they end up opposite colored. Zebra is cream on the screw bobbin and black on the slug bobbin.
