Didn't update this, but currently there's a chrome covered Custom Custom in the bridge position, screws towards the neck. I like it. The guitar is acoustically very bright and zingy, which still comes across, but the CC tames it enough that it's pleasant.

Nice. The CC is definitely a favorite in bright guitars to me.

Got any pics of the whole guitar? And I still wanna see how close that pickup actually is to the bridge.

It's about 1/2" closer to the bridge than my strat body guitars and about 1/4" closer than my LP. If you were to put a strat style trem on it, the 6 mounting screws would just about be in the pickup cavity. I don't think it's the only reason it was so bright, but I don't think it was helping.
