Saw him play at NAMM one year. His bass stack was louder than the PA system. Ah, good times...

The mightiest bass sound of all history. You can still hear it echoing through time to this day. A lot of people say this so it kind of loses meaning, but he really was one of the reasons I picked up a bass and kept it going in the first place.
Also the new bass Dean made after him looks sick. Too bad it's over 5k.

I saw the Live 8 performance that Roger and Pete did after John passed. First live performance without him and I have to admit I broke down watching it. It wasn't the same and didn't sound the same. He had that much impact on the sound of that band.

Gone but not forgotten.
