Headphone Amp Recommendations

Anyone using a headphone amp? We sold our house and moved into a duplex for the time being and I'm looking for something quiet since I have neighbors again.

Most of my guitar gear is in storage, so I'm looking for something very small. Like what I see on the Fender Mustang Micro and really like the idea being the Boss Waza Air Headphones.

Thoughts on a good small headphone amp and good headphones?

My headphone amp of choice is any one of the Focusrite Scarlett series. I have a 2i2 and an 18i8. The "Solo" is an inexpensive, and good, solution.

If you have an iPad or tablet that is one way to go. I have an AliExpress knockoff iRig adaptor I got for $5. I can play through multiple IOS apps into headphones or through my Bluetooth speaker if I want it louder.

I use the Positive Grid Spark GO for my travel rig
I hate headphones
cranked at the max
you get a good hotel room volume

Before that I used the Mooer PT100
Headphones only with drum loops
Awesome sounds

Boss Katana Go.

I bought an IK Multimedia Axe One last year for cheap, good solution if you have a computer. It works also with iPhone/iPad with USB-C connectors, even if not supported.
You can create a capture of your current rig (maybe in a studio or when the neighbours are out) and then use a Tonex pedal.
Avid Eleven Rack is like $200 used, very good also with headphones.
Laney has two new floor amps with headphones out and aux-in, depending on your music style: Lionheart Loudpedal and Ironheart Loudpedal. You may take one of your cab out of storage for when you don't want to use headphones.

What's the buget, BTW?

The HX Stomp is fantastic, but it's also not dirt cheap. It's pretty well-priced for how good it sounds, though.

You could also use a Fractal Axe FX III as a headphone amp, LOL. Probably better than anything else out there too.

But that's another thing. How involved do you want it to be?

Thank you for all of the replies & suggestions! Way more options than I thought were out there!

Budget is not really an issue...not unlimited but not really an issue.

I have a cool Yamaha THR100HD that I can use headphones but its not battery powered like the THR10 (wish I had never sold my THR10C.) It does take up some floor space which is why the Mustang Micro & Waza headphones were very intriguing.

I'm spoiled by the Yamaha THR series as they sound and feel the closest to tubes for solid state in my experience. Intrigued by the THR30 but for right now, looking for something extremely small that can fit in a guitar case so I can practice and not lose the little chops I have. :butkick:

I brought my Roland Micro Cube out of the closet last weekend. The models don't sound good to me (okay at its best) but I plugged my small modeler (Atomic Firebox) in the aux-in, put the Micro Cube on the table two feet in front of me, and powered it up with a 9v cable from my pedalboard (which I didn't know I could do) and it sounded very good at whisper level. I even managed to powered it with a rechargeable 9v lithium-ion battery for more than an hour, impressive. It will not fit in your gigbag but it can be found for real cheap and can be played when the kids are asleep or around a camp fire. You can plug your headphones if you want.
