Headrush Rainbow of Death?

After hearing the Headrush forum is basically dead, I hear about this rainbow of death on the original Headrush pedalboard where the CPU or main board goes. One guy alleges usually within the first 100 power on cycles. Is this legit? Is this a known problem?

i know a few people with em that gig frequently and they havent had any real issues that i know of

I have a Headrush pedalboard, though not sure if it's an early run 2017/2018 unit that was affected. Apparently it's only a small percentage of 2017/2018 units that were affected, and Headrush was quietly replacing the boards for free. But I think Headrush was bought by In music from Avid since then. Most seem very reliable.
