headstock font! help me decide.

Re: headstock font! help me decide.

I find #3 the most legible

I like #1
but 1 & 2 are had to read for me

so three

Re: headstock font! help me decide.

Whatever you do, please, for the love of God, do not use Papyrus or Bleeding Cowboy.

Re: headstock font! help me decide.

Thoughts? I have settled on both the kanji script and english. Its jsut the font i need to work out.

1 Shanghai font.

2 Chinese takeaway font

3 naruto style font

This is the guitar build for those who dont know.

My personal preference would be Choice 2...but definitely not #3

Re: headstock font! help me decide.

I definitely agree that #1 is by far the best one. Good choice, there.

Re: headstock font! help me decide.

Faux chinese sans. Isnt as readable but much cooler and doesnt look as corny as the chopstick lettering in your examples.

Side note... If you literally translate those characters they mean "one who is patient" The first character is patience and the other is used after an adjective to mean "one who is"

Re: headstock font! help me decide.

as a graphic designer, I hate all of them. Just use real chinese or japanese. Or get a calligrapher

Re: headstock font! help me decide.

Well anyone who'd deliberate over the font to this extent certainly is patient!

yeah i do that with everything. I have to its part of creating something like this. You need to milk the ideas out.

Umm the characters on their already are real chinese/japanese characters.

It basically says Shinobi twice just once in english then again in han characters.
