Re: Heavy Tone at a Reasonable Volume?
Truth be told, I tried putting a couple pedals in front for the first time last week. After listening to a couple very cool clips on KR Musical Products' website the other night (about halfway down this page, under the heading "Megavibe/Gypsy fuzz mp3 audioclips"), I tried putting my Analog Man Sun Face fuzz and Mojo Vibe in front of the Valvetronix using the UK '70s model. Sounded pretty sweet at low volume levels, but then when I upped the volume and tried out the same setup the next day, I wasn't as impressed. Probably requires more tweaking on my part.
Regardless, I was impressed with how well it took to the fuzz, since those pedals are pretty finicky.
