Hell March Cover

Nerds who are roughly the same age as me probably spent an awful lot of time playing PC games when they were growing up.

Which probably meant that you encountered the absolutely badass song Hell March from Command and Conquer - Red Alert.

For giggles (and to practice the fine art of metal chugging) I recorded a cover of it.

Enjoy!

Nice. Frank Kerpleki rules. You gonna do part II & III?

Pretty sick. My band did “Frigate” from Goldeneye 64.

All of the guitar tones are stellar. I especially love the wah tone, very controlled, not "whaka-whaka"

Thank you kindly for the feedback!

I've always thought that the first part was the best. I'm working on a companion video to go with that, so it'll make sense why I'm just sticking with Part 1 for the time being ;)

Trem Wah was a fun combination! I want to use it everywhere but I'm worried about becoming a wobbly Kirk Hammett...

Also, nobody tell him it's a thing.

Killer playing and sounds man!
This took me back. Playing Red Alert, Duke Nukem, Doom and the like, no wonder I ended up loving metal.
I actually bought a new PC in 2016 just so I could play the new DOOM. Christ almighty, Mick Gordons soundtrack on that thing is beyond rage-inducing. 7/8-string galore.

Never heard the original but sounds great & tight

It’s iconic. Check it out, you’ll probably appreciate this version even more as the original has that dated but nostalgic feel thanks to hardware limitations at the time but the composer Frank Kerplecki (sp?) really did play guitar. He was influenced by NIN and Ministry for most of the C&C soundtracks.
