About to start a telecaster build using a mahogany body with a rosewood top (weight relieved) and solid rosewood neck (Got to scratch that Harrison itch but without the weight and cost of a solid rosewood guitar.)
Any way it's a humbucker neck single coil tele bridge type body. I own a Hellsgate neck pickup and a JB Rails Humbucker bridge pickup I purchased for my Les Paul Standard but decided to keep the original Gibson pups instead so decision number one which pickup for the neck?
I want a Red Devil in the bridge but I have not bought one yet so I'm open to suggestions within reason (no 3 to 5 hundred dollar bootick pups plz) As the title suggests Im also interested to know if anyone has put that combo in a telecaster and how was it?
