I went to Sam Ash today and purchased the SH-1 (59). Asked for the neck position, but was given the bridge. :smack: I was ignorant to assume, rather than actually checking to see if it was the correct pickup. It was closing time, I wasn't thinking, yeah. Anyways, I started reading about others encountering this same issue, and using the SH-1b in the neck position. I know I could go back tomorrow and purchase the correct one, but I am curious. Sam Ash rarely accepts back a previously installed pickup, so I'm not sure if I want to go through that hassel, if I don't like it. I have never installed a bridge pickup in the neck position, nor vise verse. Anyways, So to the question. The pickup will be installed in an Ibanez G10, with a Custom Custom in the bridge position. The guitar goes through BBE Sonic Stomp, Tech 21 Double Drive, into Marshall 250DFX (Mod). In the FX Loop I have a Presonus Tube Pre, Samson Optical Compressor, Behringer Virtulizer Pro. What should I expect? Has anyone tried this? If so, with what kind of equipment? I appologize for taking up space, but I try to be specific with tone. I'm sure everyone understands. Thank you for your help, it is well appreciated.
