Yeah, I know. There needs to be a "drooling" icon. I would use it quite a bit. But this will have to do, :smack:
ROFL ... That's okay man, the first time I ran into that problem (it is easier to diagnose if you have the instrument in hand) was when I guy I uesd to know wired up a customers guitar (he was *supposed* to be a tech), he said hey what's wrong with this thing ... and I'll admit , it puzzled me, because in my mind (no offense) there is no way someone would wire the jack wrong ...
finally the idea hit me, and I took it to the back. I pulled the jack, and yep ...it was backwards ... I resoldered it, gave it back to the customer who happened in the door at the time I finished it (considering that I didn't
work there and had just drop by killing time, I didn't see fit to try to charge the owner of the place any service fee ... although in retrospect since his tech screw the pooch on it I should have gotten a six pack out of the deal),
then I had a little talk with the *tech* about polarity issues.
Still always remember, the simple things can trip you up in a heartbeat, always double check, and second guess your work ... be your own worst critic, you'd be amazed at the things that *you*can learn from *yourself*.
LOL! :cool3:
