Hi, I've an important question.
I'm using a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III (40watt tube amp) and I found out that with my bridge pickup (SD Invader SH-8) the amp in clean channel breaks up too early. If I split the Invader the sound isn't great and I need to play even in clean. The Invader has too much output but I cannot understand how much.
Knows someone how much output Invader has? I red that DiMarzio puts a 'output' number near the pickups.
I wonder if Custom SH-5 (NOT Custom 5) has more output than Invader, or similar, or less?
And, last question, does Invader has much more output than a DiMarzio Crunch Lab?
I need a good pickup for metal-styles solos, good cleans and not high output (I hate when I need clean and my amp breaks up..) so Custom SH-5 or Crunch Lab are the better choises for me.. I only need to know if they are far far far far away from Invader's output or they are 'closer so they let your amp breaks up like the Invader does'..
Sorry my bad English, I'm Italian!
Regards
Andree
