Help choosing a new guitar please

Re: Help choosing a new guitar please

Whats your price range?

If you can go over 1k I'd suggest an ESP eclipse II in vintage black. Mahagony body with maple top, neck, and an ebony fretboard. I saw one of these at a show a month or two back (damage plan singer playing guitar for killswitch engage) and this guitar had amazing tone for lead and rhythm. Its les paul shaped but won't be nearly as heavy and the neck will be more playable.

On an offnote I played a les paul studio for the first time the other day and GOD LORD those guitars are super heavy and thick. However, they sound great so you choose either your back or tone lol.

Schecter c 1. Great pickups, bridge, tuners, carved top, awesome set thru neck heel. Great feeling neck imo. I have owned a blackjack and now own a c1 e/a. I loved them both. They both resonated very well acoustically too.

dude i saw a new emg mh-1000 or m-1000 with active emg pickups and sweet binding and inlays for $699 at my local guitar shop. it plays soooooo friggin good and sounds great too. if i were to buy it, i would rip out that emg sh*t and put some duncans in there. but even with the sh*tty emgs, it's still worth every penny.
