Well, when I started getting serious about this, it was the Bullseye pattern hands down, because in the Navy, I worked in this area nicknamed Bullseye (that's all I can say about it) - and it seemed sort of unique - absolutely nothing to do with Zakk - I was doing bullseye when he was still riding his Huffy. My Les Paul is Cherry Sunburst.
Then, well the hot rod flames grew on me some because it has such a clean look. But, Hot Rod Flames is a little pretentious if you do NOT have Hot Rod Chops - which I don't. But, it still is cool as hell.
Then I got to thinking about the nekkid. Nekkid is very cool since you can see inside. However, I am looking at the Competition, which is 50 watts and single channel - so I'm thinking there might be a few tubes less to look at inside.
The Flamey pattern looks friggin fantastic - very nice - very classy. More stuff to consider - it's the classiest of the looks I've seen.
This is the hardest part!
It will be a game-day decision because I could live with and really like any of them. Best part is though, I think you can order yerself a blank and do your own thing - Something in a D-Day Motif would kill.
Makes it much easier to spot if your tubes start red plating.:yell:
