Hey Darth! :headbang:

I voted for white pearl with open buckers. My top choice would have been white pearl with white or parchment pups but I'm assuming you already own at least the RTM.

yes, all the pickups are ones I already have on the bench. between all the responses I've had from many sources, it's looking like it's down to the silver pearloid (the color already on it) or the white pearloid. both with open black hums. I think the white pearloid would be cool, as it's more like the 3-ply white that was originally on it. I might get both and give them both a spin to see how they wear.

Re: Help Decide Which Pickguard

going with all the info from a few sources, I did go with the silver pearloid with the open black hums. not bad. I've been using silver pearloid in this guitar for many years... but with the white pickups. at some point in the near future, I do expect to go with a white pearloid as well. I think that'd have a little more contrast and make things pop a bit more.

on a different note, I put an UOA5 in the RTM when I installed it in the new pickguard and it really makes it jump out in alder the same way the A2 does in maple. curious little magnet.
