Help figure out the diagrams

This is the first time I'll be wiring up push pulls and a 3 way. I've just messed with my strat. My questions are
1) Where do I solder the wire that goes to the top of the 3-way switch? From what I've seen, there's only 3 prongs on the switch.
2) How is the push-pull part of the pot oriented? Is the top of the 6 prong part the top or bottom of the actual pot?
That seemed a little difficult to explain so If it was confusing, tell me and ill try to clear it up

Re: Help figure out the diagrams

The wire of the "top" of the 3-way is GROUND, you must solder it to any other grounding point in your grounding network.
I guess, the two lower pull/pushes have the top facing the floor and the upper ones have the top facing ceil.
Usually, when the pull/push is pulled off, middle and upper (top) lugs will be in contact. When pushed, middle and lower lugs will be in contact.

Just a bad new for you: THIS DIAGRAM DOESN'T WORKS!!!!
Do a search on "The Vault" forum for info about the Jimmy Page mod.
Or, if you prefere it, take a look to my blog where the JP wiring is fully described and when you will find some alternative wirings.

The JP wiring:

the following article is my own alternative to JP wiring:

Thanks. The other diagrams are easier for me to ready anyway.
