OK, a friend of mine posted this in another forum, and I know he'll get a better answer here where theres more peopl who know what there talking about, here it goes:
"hey guys i was wondering if you could help me out with something.
i might be buying a strat with the serial # FN202960. as far as i can find out, this was an american strat that was built for exportation, but i'm not sure of the year it was made. also the strat is a "classis Floyd Rose series" fender, as it says on the headstock. it has a genuine floyd rose on it; not a license copy. i cant find out much about the guitar. can any of you fender fanatics point me in the right direction to find out some info about this strat?"
I looked and I find the US SN harder to "decode" for dating etc. please help.
