The Dragon is supposed to be way less high gain and ballsy.
That said, Rock Solid Amps doesn't know how to mic up amps decently, so the clips suck.
The Cobra is like a better 5150. You can hear it on the new Absence record.

i've been looking into these two heads latley also. from what i have heard in clips and read from other peoples reviews and such the dragon seems to be a bit darker and the cobra a bit brighter with a bit more edge to it. there is more to it than that but that's the basic thing that jumps out every time i hear a clip or read a review.

FWIH, the Cobra is supposed to be one great amp... definately worth a tryout
