Re: HELP : Ibanez RG 450 LTD JAPAN

F$%&ing Hails, JP !!

i am pretty sure that NO guitar needs a trem spaced pickup for the Neck spot ... only bridge position for trem guitars needs one

good luck

Re: HELP : Ibanez RG 450 LTD JAPAN

t4d is correct in the neck position of any ibanez or fender with a trem or floyd i have owned they use a regular spaced pickup since the strings get closer together as they move towards the nut.

Re: HELP : Ibanez RG 450 LTD JAPAN

You can use a F-spaced pickup in the neck with a floyd rose and at least a 1 11/16th inch nut. I have used them when I used to use Dimarzios and the strings lined up fine. A standard spaced pickup will work fine also. You can actually use either.

Re: HELP : Ibanez RG 450 LTD JAPAN

It will work fine if your nut is at least 1 11/16th or wider!!!!! You can also use regular spaced also. They both will line up fine if your nut is at least that wide.

Re: HELP : Ibanez RG 450 LTD JAPAN

But.. holy crap, what kind of measure is that? can you "translate" it to Milimeters?

1 11/16th -> this 16TH mean The 16 fret?
sorry but i´m totally OFF with those things.

it means 1 inch and 11 16th's of an inch wide... give me metric any day of the week

Re: HELP : Ibanez RG 450 LTD JAPAN

Yes either will fit. I have an F-spaced PAF pro in the neck position of my rg and the strings line up perfectly...it's a hard-tail though.
