Help id my warlock

I think this is a 1989 warlock as it has the 100 piece neck. It has a NJ series truss rod cover and BCXXXXX serial so I am gonna guess its made in Japan. It has 24 frets.
I am more than happy to be corrected on any of this.
Im hoping someone can confirm/correct any of this and let me know what they think of it.

That's probably a good guess, BCXXXX is the late 80s-early 90s Nagoya Japan serial number code

AFAIK BC Rich import production moved to South Korea in '87.

I found this on another forum

I also found out that Korea didn't totally take over production of the NJs in 86. They were still making them in Japan till 92. MIK having the serials F8XXXX & MIJ keeping BCXXXXX. edit. I was wrong here correct info in later post
I need to find more info on the neck and see if it was only produced for 1 year.

Ive never heard of the "100pc neck" before. Thats certainly not 100pcs, its actually 7pcs, and the other 93pcs are just grain lines. Hopefully it doesnt have the 100pc body, cause alot of those from that era had plywood hodies. Id peel a cavity cover and check into that.
From what I understood is that around 1989 is when they went to a top mounted nut, so that jives with what you have going on there. Looks like a Gotoh style floyd, which would most likely also have heen on a mij guitar as well. These guitars are so hard to pinpoint to a certain year, you can really only gather info and deduce what year it could be.

Is the BC Rich forum still up and running? Id try posting this there and see what they think. Either way its a nice guiar and it seems like it was taken care of.

I didn't count them but there are far far more than 7 layers visible in that neck.

Right now,
I believe I am a bit closer to what it actually is!
The NJ series manufacture was moved completely to Korea in late86 early 87 making it impossible for mine to be what I thought....
However.
I do believe I have cracked the bastard:
" In 1989 B.C. Rich made a line of guitars and basses called the NJ2 to be sold to the overseas market. These were made in Japan after the NJ Series moved from Nagoya to Korea. The quality of the NJ2s were that of the vintage Nagoya, and even the USA guitars. The NJ2 basses came with what was called the "100-piece" or the "Super-Bass" neck. These were 100+ pieces of wood laminated together and then cut to form a super strong and thunderous neck. Due to the difficulty and labor to make these necks, the NJ2s were only made in 1989, with a few random examples popping up dated in the early 90s. "

Also by the latter end of the 80s the dating on the BCXXXXX serials was around 3 years ahead as production had overtaken the dating system making BC20 (or 1992) into 89.
