Help idntifying some single coils

Hello all,

I picked up a loaded pickguard from ebay a couple of weeks a go with a TB-4 in it, which is what I was looking for. The guard was made by warmoth, and has a middle and neck single coil indicated as SD. Can you folks help me identify which model of SD they are?

I do not believe those single coils were ever in Santa Barbara. They have a distinctly Asian look to me.

Neither of those is a Duncan and neither is Alnico.

The neck pickup with two ceramic magnets is stock Fender Mexico. If you take the ceramic bar magnets off and replace the pole pieces with Alnico rods it will sound pretty good.

The middle pickup is a Squier. Best use for that one is as a refrigerator magnet.

Yup. Even Duncan Designed singles still use magnet pole pieces as opposed to glued-on mags.
